Hello foodie friends! Happy Wednesday!
I was snowed in pretty much all of last weekend which was actually kind of fun. My kitchen was a complete disaster by the end of the storm because I cooked just about everything that was in my fridge and pantry. I made a minestrone soup and a crock pot chicken noodle soup.
Tea and warm socks are snow day essentials!
Even though it was snowing and there was already 8 inches of snow outside I still had to have my morning smoothie. I made this Super Green Smoothie!
While the boys were outside shoveling I discovered some pie crusts in the freezer which inspired me to make some quiche. I had leftover broccoli from the night before so I just sautéed an onion, a couple cloves of garlic, and added cheddar cheese.
They came out amazing! Golden brown, fluffy, and delicious. Over the next few days I had a slice for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. That’s what I love about quiche it is the perfect anytime meal.
My daughter and I snacked on a bowl of Skinny Pop while we watched Sesame Street together and I must say they make a great combo! Here’s a random fun fact – Sesame Street is currently on season 45! 45!
Those quiches look delicious! I think it’s pretty crazy that Sesame Street is on HBO now.

Thank you! I cover the quiche with foil for the first 30 minutes for golden crust! I think it makes all the difference 🙂
